What we do

Your content. Your goal.
Your neurological edge.

ViewBrain gives you the kind of insight that focus groups and analytics dashboards can't — what's actually happening in your viewer's brain, and what to do about it.

01
We watch your video — neurologically
Upload any video and we map neural activity across 20,484 brain vertices, every second. Our model simulates how your audience's visual, emotional, and memory systems actually respond — not what they say they feel.
Any format 1s resolution fMRI-grade
02
We find every moment you're losing them
We surface the exact seconds where attention drops, emotions flatline, memory stops forming, or cognitive overload spikes. You'll see your content's weak spots before your audience ever does.

03
We tell you exactly what to fix — for your goal
Tell us what you're optimising for — watch time, brand recall, clicks, emotional impact — and every recommendation is calibrated to that goal. Not generic advice. Your video's brain data, applied to your objective.

The dip. The fix. The uplift.

Three real content types. For each one — the exact second engagement drops, and the recommendation that brings it back up.

Your hook loses momentum when you cut to static text. Move the payoff reveal to 6s and layer a sound cue at the cut — this re-engages the salience network before attention drifts.

Memory consolidation flatlines mid-ad — your product demo is running without an emotional anchor. Bring your brand logo forward 3 seconds to 19s, where hippocampal encoding peaks. That's when it sticks.

Model & Research

This isn't guesswork.
It's peer-reviewed brain science.

ViewBrain's predictions are grounded in real human fMRI data — the same neuroscience methodology used in published academic research, not marketing proxy metrics.

Trained on real fMRI recordings
Our encoding model learns from thousands of real brain imaging sessions capturing how human visual cortex, emotion centres, and memory systems respond to natural visual stimuli — not synthetic proxies.
Clinical-grade cortical resolution
Predictions run on the fsaverage5 cortical surface (20,484 vertices) — the standard reference space used in published neuroimaging research and clinical settings. Every score is anatomically grounded.
Five scores from five brain systems
Immersion, emotional resonance, attention stability, memory consolidation, and cognitive load each map to well-characterised functional connectivity patterns with published predictive validity in the neuroscience literature.
Validated on held-out data
Model accuracy is measured against fMRI recordings not seen during training. Recommendations are derived from the same encoding methodology used in peer-reviewed computational neuroscience — not retrofitted heuristics.

Why it can be trusted
Trained on the largest publicly available visual fMRI dataset — real human neural responses, not modelled proxies
Each brain score maps to named functional connectivity networks cited in published neuroscience literature
Uses standard fsaverage5 cortical space — reproducible, verifiable, and consistent with clinical neuroimaging
No self-report bias, no focus groups, no observer effect — pure neural signal from imaging data

"Neural encoding models trained on large-scale fMRI data capture fine-grained, behaviourally relevant variation in cortical responses to natural visual stimuli — enabling reliable predictions on previously unseen content."
